Help Liam cheer Riley up
Level Overview
Welcome to Tricky Story Story 2 Level 20! After experiencing the pool party humiliation in the previous level, Riley is extremely depressed. The male protagonist Liam brought her to the lively central square for a date to relax. This level's core mechanism is counter mode (0/8). To make Riley smile again, Liam needs to spend money or link up with various street performers and hidden props on the square. Each successful trigger of a novel, interesting or heartwarming interaction that makes Riley feel good will add "+1" to the progress bar. Collect 8 all-round romantic pampering interactions to completely heal Riley's wounded heart!
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
- Pay Cash to Ice Cream Cart in Front (Progress 1/8): Click the stack of green cash (Cash) held in Liam's left hand and drag it to the small cart ice cream vendor table on the left. The vendor will start making double scoop ice cream.
- Feed Delicious Double Scoop Ice Cream to Riley (Progress 2/8): After the ice cream is made, drag the cone on the cart to feed it to the orange-haired girl Riley on the right, using sweets to soothe her depressed mood. Progress bar successfully adds 1.
- Pick Up Wooden Stick on Ground to Break Piñata (Progress 3/8): A yellow wooden stick (Stick) is lying horizontally at Liam's feet. Click and hold the wooden stick, drag it upward and continuously smash it toward the little bear balloon/piñata candy box hanging above the fountain.
- Collect Fallen Candy to Make Riley Happy (Progress 4/8): After the little bear balloon is hit by the wooden stick, it will instantly explode and drop a lot of colorful chocolate candies from the air. Pick up the candies on the ground and drag them to Riley's hand.
- Buy Colorful Balloons in Left Clown's Hand (Progress 5/8): Click the street clown on the left wearing red and yellow polka dot clothes with red hair. Drag Liam's green cash to him again to exchange for the entire bunch of colorful high-altitude hydrogen balloons floating in his hand.
- Throw Coins in Violinist Uncle's Small Hat to Trigger Solo (Progress 6/8): Notice a bearded, black-hatted, violin-holding wandering musician standing in front of the central fountain. Click the coins or cash on the table and throw them into his black hat on the ground. He will start playing romantic love songs.
- Guide Right Sketch Artist to Paint Portrait for Riley (Progress 7/8): Move your view to the right. Click the young artist sitting next to the canvas with his chin resting on his hand. The artist will immediately stand up and quickly sketch Riley's beautiful portrait on the white canvas.
- Click Shining Full Moon in Center of Night Sky to Sublimate Atmosphere (Progress 8/8): After food, music, paintings and balloons are all set up (progress bar reaches 7/8), click the white moon (Moon) hanging in the night sky at the top. Bright pink starlight particles float through the night sky. Riley's mood index instantly rises to 100% full, showing Liam the sweetest smile. Progress bar fills to 8/8 for perfect clearance!
Pro Tips
- Money power parallel interaction method: Since the cash (Steps 1 & 5) on Liam can be used continuously at high frequency, pay the ice cream cart in the first second of opening. During the 2-second gap of ice cream packing, immediately pull the second stack of money to the clown on the left. This two-finger parallel hand speed can greatly squeeze the 60-second time limit.
- Filter irrelevant static layer blind zones: The leather jacket passerby riding a motorcycle in the back, the European chandelier hanging in the shop window on the left of the fountain, and the double-headed old street lamp standing on the right of the road are all non-interactive static renderings. Blindly clicking is purely wasting countdown.
Common Mistakes
- Frantically clicking Riley's body at opening at 0/8 progress: At this time, Riley is in a deep autistic locked frame due to just eating dirt at the party. Before helping her push the mood progress to 7/8 through surrounding environment and snacks, directly frantically clicking her has no feedback.
- Mistaking wooden stick on ground as a weapon to smash wandering violinist: The yellow wooden stick on the ground (Step 3) is a hard-coded "blow up high-altitude little bear balloon" special function prop. If you drag it to hit friendly NPCs, it will cause violation black screen.
- Mistakenly giving money to right artist leaning against street lamp resting: Artist (Step 7) needs to be awakened by directly clicking his head or canvas. He belongs to spiritual art flow and does not accept physical cash. Giving money wrongly will cause prop judgment to fail.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why didn't the blue progress bar above add 1 after I picked up the candy?
Please confirm whether the candy successfully completed the physical displacement of feeding to Riley. You need to press and hold the colorful chocolate candy on the ground and pull out a line all the way to Riley's palm layer. If you directly throw it in the ice cream cart or pool, the system will regard it as invalid operation garbage.
Will the "118" stars in the upper right corner interfere with the romantic ending of this level?
No. That represents the total number of perfect three stars you accumulated in the entire second chapter (the first 20 levels of Hidden Heiress). It proves your perfect puzzle skills, but will not change the 8-point counter clearance hard rule of the central square date in this level.
