Help Claire ruin Riley's experiment
Level Overview
Welcome to Tricky Story Story 2 Level 17! It is now chemistry lab class. Riley (orange-haired girl on the right) is concentrating on mixing reagents at the lab table, while Claire (pink dress girl on the left) sitting in the front row is plotting to sabotage her experimental results. The black female teacher is patrolling in front of the podium with a book. This level's core mechanism is counter mode (0/8). You need to use chemical reagents, heating instruments, books and even birds outside the window on the podium and lab table to continuously execute 8 successful sabotage, swap or interference operations while the teacher is not paying attention within the specified time. Each correct prank interaction will add "+1" to the progress bar. Collect 8 successes to completely mess up Riley's experiment!
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
- Swap Yellow Flask on Riley's Lab Table (Progress 1/8): Observe a stack of books on Claire's desk with a round-bottom flask containing yellow liquid on top. Click and hold it and drag it to Riley's lab table on the right to mix with her original blue beaker liquid, causing its chemical composition to mutate.
- Turn Up Power of Heater on Right Side of Lab Table (Progress 2/8): Click the white electronic heater/digital stirrer on the far right of Riley's lab table. Continuously click the knob in the lower right corner 2 times to turn the heating power to maximum, causing the liquid in the beaker to start boiling violently and smoking.
- Continuously Click Experiment Textbook in Front of Claire (Progress 3/8): Click the black chemistry textbook spread out on the table between Claire and Riley. Click it quickly to close it or flip through pages everywhere, tearing up the correct formula inside.
- Move Away Test Tube Rack on Teacher's Podium (Progress 4/8): Move your view to the black teacher's desk. A wooden test tube rack with three test tubes is on the left. Press and hold the test tube rack and drag it upside down on the table, disrupting the teacher's chemical equipment layout.
- Click and Light Up Orange Phone on Table (Progress 5/8): Click the orange smartphone (Claire's phone) placed in the center of the desk. Click to light it up. The strong light flashing on the screen will interfere with Riley's judgment of reagent color. Progress bar successfully adds 1.
- Slide Open Large Arched Window on Upper Left (Progress 6/7): Click the closed grid high window in the left background. Press and hold the window frame and swipe up to completely push the window open, changing the airflow and temperature variables in the laboratory.
- Click Flying In Bird to Disturb Teacher (Progress 7/8): After the window is opened, birds outside will fly in and land near the podium. Click this bird. It will flap its wings and fly around the room, successfully attracting the black female teacher's attention and making her turn her head.
- Add Pinch of Salt to Riley's Experiment (Progress 8/8): While the teacher turns her head to look at the bird (Step 7) in the absolute blind spot, click the white small medicine bottle/seasoning jar on the left table. Press and hold it and drag it directly above Riley's stirring beaker and release your hand to pour in a large dose of powder. Progress bar fills to 8/8 for perfectly messing up the experiment to clear the level!
Pro Tips
- Multi-point interaction to grab time: Turning up heater power (Step 2) and lighting up phone (Step 5) can be completed simultaneously with two fingers without waiting for the previous bottle swap animation to finish, maximizing the 60-second time limit.
- Ignore completely locked textures: The "MASS PERCENTAGE" chemistry formula densely written on the blackboard, the white teaching building outline outside the right window, and Claire's pink bag under her feet are all non-interactive static textures. Random clicking is purely wasting countdown.
Common Mistakes
- Pouring small medicine bottle powder when teacher is facing students: The book and sight line in the teacher's hand will periodically scan the whole field. If you forcibly add powder (Step 8) when a red alarm icon appears above the teacher's head, you will be caught on the spot causing suspension failure.
- Dragging yellow flask to smash black female teacher's head: The theme of this level is "chemistry lab mess". Directly physically attacking the teacher is a serious violation and will cause the game to judge failure.
- Only clicking small medicine bottle without dragging displacement trajectory: All reagents and flasks on the table must be long-pressed and pulled out with a clear parabolic trajectory to above Riley's beaker. Frantically clicking in the original position has no feedback.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the progress bar stuck at 7/8 and still unable to clear after I moved all the bottles?
This means you missed the large floor-to-ceiling window interaction (Step 6) hidden in the upper left corner. You must first swipe up to push open the window to attract flying birds, creating the core distraction mechanism for the teacher to turn her head. Only then will the final powder be allowed to be fed into the beaker to gather 8/8 full points.
What is the specific use of the current "120" stars in the upper right corner?
That represents the total number of perfect three stars you have accumulated in the entire game (including the previous first chapter and the first 16 levels of the second chapter). You can exchange more exquisite regular clothes or ball gowns for the protagonist team in the lobby clothing store. It does not affect the puzzle physical data of this level itself.
