Tricky Story Level 9 - Complete Walkthrough Guide
Level Overview
Welcome to Tricky Story Story 2 Level 9! Claire is standing in front of the press conference stage, pretending to be the daughter of the billionaire Ashford family. To completely expose her lies, Riley must guide the audience and environmental items to expose her. According to the prompt on the stage "The real young Miss Ashford is not allergic to pollen," you can use flower bouquets, pets, reporters in the audience, and various hidden props on site to create 8 flaw triggers that add "+1" to the progress bar and completely tear off her disguise!
Time Limit: 60 seconds
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
- Send Flowers to Claire on Stage: Observe the crowd in the audience. On the right is a girl with a golden ponytail wearing a school uniform jacket holding a large bouquet of pink flowers (pollen source). Click and hold this bouquet of flowers and drag it to Claire on stage.
- Trigger Claire's Pollen Allergy Sneezing: After Claire receives the bouquet, she will immediately trigger a pollen allergy animation, frantically rubbing her nose and sneezing. According to the background frame prompt, this directly proves she is a fake, and the progress bar successfully adds 1.
- Continuously Click the Orange Cat on Stage to Make It Meow: Notice a fat orange cat sitting next to the podium. Continuously click the orange cat 3 times quickly. The cat will meow, attracting the attention of specific characters in the audience.
- Steal the Record Board from the Middle-Aged Man: On the left side of the crowd is a bald middle-aged man in a brown suit holding a record board and checking data. Click the white record clipboard in his hand, pull it away and throw it on the ground.
- Pull Off the Headphones of the Boy Wearing Headphones: In the lower left corner stands a black-haired boy in green clothes wearing large black over-ear headphones. Click his headphones and swipe up to pull off both his hat and headphones, letting him hear the allergy commotion on stage clearly.
- Slide Open the Blue Curtain on the Left: Click the closed blue sunshade curtain on the large glass window on the left. Swipe left horizontally to pull the curtain open, letting the dazzling strong light and reporters outside project in.
- Trigger the Photographer to Press the Shutter and Take Photos: Click the photographer in the front left row holding a black camera. Click his camera frantically. The camera will continuously flash magnesium lights in the strong light, capturing embarrassing photos of Claire's allergy.
- Push the Large Microphone to Claire's Face: After opening the window, taking photos, and sending flowers (Steps 1-7) cause public opinion to be in an uproar, click the black multimedia large microphone standing on the right. Press and hold and drag it directly to Claire's mouth, instantly broadcasting her panicked excuses and sneezing sounds to the entire venue. Progress bar fills to 8/8 for perfect clearance!
Pro Tips
- Prioritize sending flowers: Since the prompt on stage (Pollen) is the key to this level, it is recommended to drag the pink flowers (Step 1) to Claire in the first second of the opening. During the 3 seconds of allergy animation playback, you can simultaneously complete opening the curtain (Step 6) and pulling off headphones (Step 5).
- Filter dead background textures: The number "1" on the audience's clothes, the blue dress girl's backpack in the crowd, and the vertical stripes on the stage wooden background wall are all pure decorative assets. Random clicking has no feedback.
Common Mistakes
- Frantically clicking the audience in the opening: The audience in the audience are hard-coded static frames before triggering key clues. Blindly clicking will not cause any physical changes to the progress bar.
- Dragging flowers to the boy with glasses in the audience: Flowers must be provided as flaw props to the fake socialite Claire on stage. If mistakenly sent to the audience, it will cause key props to disappear and be forced to restart.
- Only clicking the large microphone without dragging: The microphone is a prop that requires displacement interaction. If you just keep tapping the microphone base lightly, it will stand firmly in place and cannot be sent to Claire's mouth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the upper right corner show 119 stars?
That is the total number of gold stars you have accumulated in your current game account for clearing levels, which can be used to purchase clothing or unlock additional Hidden extras on the main interface. It has nothing to do with this level's countdown timer.
Why didn't the progress bar immediately add 1 when I clicked the orange cat?
This fat orange cat's judgment box is a bit sluggish. You need to continuously and quickly multi-tap it 3 times or more to trigger it to completely stand up and meow, and the system will judge it successful.
