Tricky Story Level 2 - Complete Walkthrough Guide
Level Overview
Welcome to Tricky Story: Story 3 Level 2! Cece (the white-haired girl in the red dress) wakes up in an extremely luxurious European-style vintage palace bedroom. She is painfully holding her forehead, very confused about everything in front of her. This level's core mechanism is action counter mode (0/8). To help Cece find the truth and piece together clues from last night, you need to conduct a carpet-style physical investigation of the European tea table, bed, mannequin dress, mysterious oil paintings on the wall, and curtains in the room.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
- Check the vintage newspaper on the marble tea table (Progress 1/8): Click the vintage English newspaper laid flat on the carved marble tea table to read the headline clue.
- Move the silver carved handle mirror (Progress 2/8): Click the silver hand mirror next to the newspaper and drag it to the lower right to reveal the secret note underneath.
- Lift the pillow on the classical double bed (Progress 3/8): Click and drag upward the gold-edged large pillow on the blue velvet bed to expose the old badge hidden underneath.
- Pull open the bedside table drawer (Progress 4/8): Click the drawer handle of the solid wood bedside cabinet and slide it outward to extract a yellowed mysterious letter.
- Rotate the purple court dress on the mannequin (Progress 5/8): Horizontally swipe the long purple bubble-sleeve court dress to rotate the mannequin 180 degrees, revealing the family embroidery pattern on the back.
- Slide the blue velvet main curtain (Progress 6/8): Swipe left or right on the thick blue silk velvet main curtain hanging high in the upper left corner to change the room's light refraction.
- Continuously click the portrait painting on the right wall (Progress 7/8): Quickly click the huge gold-framed portrait of the blurred-face woman 2 times to shake loose torn photo fragments from the interlayer.
- Click the hidden gap behind the blue single sofa chair (Progress 8/8): Press and pull outward the gap between the back and seat of the high-end blue leather single sofa chair to extract the key brass old key. Cece's memory fragments instantly piece together, and she completely understands the conspiracy and truth of last night!
Pro Tips
- Multi-finger speed search: Clicking the newspaper and moving the mirror are in the same central visual focus grid. Use both hands to alternately click and drag on the tea table surface to quickly gain 2 progress points.
- Drawer collision logic: You must first pull open the bedside cabinet drawer before the system refreshes the paper Hitbox inside.
Common Mistakes
- Clicking Cece's white hair at 0/8: Cece is in a "dizzy stiff frame" state. Clicking her before using surrounding notes and evidence to push progress to 7/8 won't force completion.
- Dragging teapot to water flowers: The blue and white porcelain vase and blue hydrangeas are purely static renderings. Dragging the teapot to water them causes the prop to bounce back.
- Single-clicking the portrait: The huge frame requires continuous rapid multi-tap 2+ times to trigger loosening. A single light tap only makes it tremble slightly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the progress bar stuck at 7/8 after I moved the newspaper, pillow, and dress?
This means you missed the final sofa chair gap search (Step 8). After finding all 7 obvious clues, don't forget to poke the shadow area of the blue large single chair back gap with your fingertip to pull out the key.
What about the "293" stars in the upper right corner?
That represents your total perfect gold star assets accumulated from perfectly clearing all previous chapters. It proves your impeccable hardcore puzzle clearance foundation and does not change this level's 8-point counter rule.
